Worship at NCC
The purpose of our worship services at NCC is first and foremost to glorify God.
Newnan City Church offers three worship services each Sunday (9:00 am,10:30 am & 6:00 pm), with children’s programming (infant through 5th) provided.
Sunday messages are biblically based and applicable to life, and every service includes Holy Communion, which is offered to everyone.
The music in the service is acoustic, with an emphasis on songs that glorify God and emphasize our need of Jesus. It’s not uncommon to sing an old hymn as well as a new song you heard this week on Christian radio. We don’t offer a haze machine, strobe lights, and skinny jeans are scarce.
Most of those worshipping will be wearing casual attire, however, it’s not uncommon to see a tie. You will find people of all backgrounds present, including people of different races. Coffee and refreshments are served before each service and it is difficult to stay anonymous when attending on a Sunday.
Our hope is you will find the worship experience on Sunday as authentic and intimate, and one which is glorifying to God.

Worship through music has been Rob’s passion for a number of years. He has been serving as worship pastor at NCC since the beginning in 2017. Prior to that, he served as worship leader at Community Christian Church in Sharpsburg and Browns Mill Church. When not leading music at NCC, Rob plays the music (and does news) at The JOY FM. His wife, Nancy, and two daughters, Maddie and Emma, have been living in Coweta County for over 15 years. (Just don’t hold it against Rob that he is a lifelong New York Mets’ fan!)
