Local MissionsWe believe that it is through serving the marginalized that we experience Christ in our midst. (Matthew 25:31-46)
Serving in Local Missions is one of NCC’s three pillars. We call these serving opportunities SERVE DAYS. We believe it’s very difficult to grow in the likeness of Jesus without serving the marginalized on His behalf.
Every week NCC provides opportunities for your entire household to serve in local missions. Because Local Missions is one of our three pillars, this is the primary program we offer at NCC. We partner with numerous Kingdom minded organizations in our community in order to be the hands and feet of Jesus—outside the walls of the church. Our local mission partners include local organizations as well as homeless ministries in Atlanta.
We believe that it is through serving the marginalized that we experience Christ in our midst (Matthew 25:31-46). Jesus mandates that we connect with the marginalized and the most vulnerable within our reach. To neglect serving those in need on behalf of Jesus is sin and angers God (Mark 3:1-6).
The majority of our SERVE DAYS are designed for all ages, and all walks of life. It doesn’t matter your season of life nor where you are on your faith journey, you are invited to serve and experience the power of the Holy Spirit working through and in you.
